Community Spotlight Launches in Route 6 Happenings

Every mile along US Route 6 tells a story. From historic main streets and family run businesses to museums, community festivals, and dedicated volunteers, the towns and people along this remarkable highway form the heartbeat of the corridor that stretches from Provincetown, Massachusetts to Long Beach, California.
To celebrate those stories, the US Route 6 Tourist Association is pleased to introduce a new feature in the Happenings newsletter called Community Spotlight.
This weekly feature will shine a light on the people, places, and initiatives that make the Route 6 corridor such a vibrant and welcoming travel experience. Each edition will highlight a different community story from somewhere along the historic highway. It may be a local museum preserving regional history, a small town event bringing neighbors together, a family owned business serving travelers for generations, or an individual whose dedication helps keep the spirit of the highway alive.
Community Spotlight is about recognizing the everyday champions who make the Route 6 experience special for travelers and residents alike. By sharing these stories, we strengthen the connections between communities across all fourteen states served by US Route 6.
