Hello All: My name is Gary Hunter, a life-long resident of U.S.
Highway 6 with over 80% of my 65 years spent living along the Historic
Highway with addresses like 12673 State Route 6 Chardon, Ohio or 13752
GAR Hwy. Hambden, Ohio, or 4131 US Hwy. 6 Rome, Ohio. As a 28 year
Trustee in Rome Ohio, I have been promoting Route 6 and the surrounding
communities for years. My Wife Pat and I are excited to be promoting
Historic U.S. Route 6 across the State of Ohio and beyond.
Soon I plan on meeting with SPONOSORS of the business community located
along the Grand Army of the Republic Highway. I look forward to talking about the goals
of the U.S. Route 6 Association and the role individuals, businesses and
government can play in making our Mission a success. I also want to
learn about the primary concerns communities have regarding economic
development and cultural preservation and how we can best serve their
needs.
Join the team and become part of the decision making process. My first
project is to establish an Advisory Committee.
Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or desire
additional information.
